The Whangārei Bahá’í community warmly invites friends and families to gather for Summer School at Te Puna o Te Mātauranga Marae, NorthTec, from Saturday 30 January to Monday morning, 1 February 2027, during Auckland/Northland Anniversary Weekend.
Theme
“Each contribute, together we flourish – Nāu te rourou, nāku te rourou.”
The Summer School will offer an opportunity for friends of all ages to come together in a spirit of fellowship, learning and reflection, exploring how the contribution of each person can enrich and strengthen the life of the community.
Accommodation
Friends are encouraged to begin considering their accommodation arrangements early, as this is a particularly busy time during the summer holidays.
Accommodation options will include staying at the NorthTec marae, billeting with local friends, or arranging your own motel or hotel accommodation. Those planning to book their own accommodation are encouraged to do so well in advance.
Registration
Online registrations will open in November/December 2026. Further programme and registration information will be shared as details are finalised.
The Whangārei community looks forward to welcoming friends to the Far North for a joyful long weekend of learning, fellowship and community.
